Privacy Policy

1. Overview

EnrichReturns (“we”, “us”) provides free financial calculators and informational tools at https://www.enrichreturns.com. We aim to collect as little personal data as practical. This policy is for general information and is not legal advice.

Some features (for example analytics or, when enabled, advertising) involve third-party providers that may process technical identifiers. We do not claim that no data is ever collected or processed when such services are active.

2. Information we may collect

• Calculator inputs — amounts, rates and preferences you enter. These typically stay in your browser (e.g. localStorage for saved results) unless you choose to share a link.
• Technical data — standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and approximate location, used for security and performance.
• Contact messages — if you email or call us, we receive the details you send.
• Cookies, local storage and similar technologies — used for basic site function, remembering preferences, analytics and (when enabled) advertising. See sections 4–6 below.

3. How we use information

• To operate, improve and secure the website
• To respond to support or feedback requests
• To understand which tools are useful (in aggregate), including via analytics
• To support site monetisation when advertising is enabled (for example measuring ad performance and delivering ads)

We do not sell your personal information as a standalone product.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and scripts. We and third parties may use them for:

• Essential / functional — remembering calculator inputs or UI preferences in your browser
• Analytics — understanding aggregate traffic and page usage
• Advertising — when Google AdSense or similar networks are enabled, advertising cookies and identifiers may be used to serve, measure and (where permitted) personalise ads

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some site features. Device or account settings from Google and other providers may also let you manage ad personalisation.

5. Analytics

We currently use Google Analytics 4 (via Google tags / gtag) to measure site usage. Google may process identifiers such as cookie IDs, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser information and page views according to Google’s terms and privacy policy.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with pages (for example session recordings and heatmaps). Clarity may collect device/browser information, pages visited, and interaction data under Microsoft’s terms and privacy policy.

6. Advertising (including Google AdSense)

We may use Google AdSense and/or other third-party advertising providers to display advertisements on the Site. When advertising is active:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this or other websites
• Ads may be personalized (based on inferred interests or prior activity) or non-personalized (based on contextual factors such as the page content or approximate location), depending on settings, law and available signals
• Providers may process technical data such as IP address, cookie identifiers, device information and interaction with ads
• These parties act under their own privacy policies; we do not control all cookies they set

Advertising scripts and placements will only be added when we enable them operationally. Until then, this section describes how advertising technologies are intended to work on EnrichReturns.

7. Other third-party services

Market rates, metal prices, FX, fund data and similar information may come from third-party APIs or public sources (see our Data Sources & Methodology page). When you leave our site via bank, broker, card issuer or partner links — including referral / affiliate links disclosed on our Affiliate Disclosure page — their privacy policies apply.

8. Data retention & security

Browser-stored calculator data remains until you clear site data. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for operations and security. Analytics and advertising providers retain data under their own policies. We use reasonable safeguards but no internet transmission is fully secure.

9. Children

Our tools are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

10. Your choices

• Clear local browser storage and disable or delete cookies
• Use Google Analytics opt-out and Google Ads Settings where available
• Contact us to request deletion of information you have sent by email, where applicable

If we later introduce a consent banner or Consent Mode for advertising/analytics in certain regions, those controls will supplement (not replace) the options above.
